In 2013, we entered the shipyard sector by acquiring KUZEY STAR SHIPYARD/YALOVA.
In 2014, we changed the name of our facility to KUZEY STAR SHIPYARD / TUZLA after acquiring Floating Dock No.1 and the shipyard in Tuzla. In addition to Floating Dock No.1, we launched Floating Dock No.2 in 2016 for Panamax vessels. In 2021, we further strengthened our leadership position in the industry by adding the GreenDock Floating Dock investment to our facilities.
Our shipyard goes beyond ship repair and maintenance services by offering an "All-in-One" service approach to our customers, creating a new understanding of repair and maintenance. Additionally, KUZEY STAR SHIPYARD continues to grow in the industry with its shipbuilding projects while maintaining high-quality and reliable service at its state-of-the-art facilities.
