The Ro-Ro ship named Marshal Rokossovsky, constructed by Kuzey Star Shipyard for the Russian FSUE Rosmorport, was launched into the sea in a ceremony. Ordered by the Russian FSUE Rosmorport company for use on the Ust-Luga-Baltiysk route, the 200-meter-long Ro-Ro ship was launched into the water during the ceremony held at Kuzey Star Shipyard. The vessel, named Marshal Rokossovsky, will also be the first Ro-Ro ship in Russia to operate with LNG. The ship is capable of transporting not only cars, trucks, and trailers but also railway wagons. While the delivery of Marshal Rokossovsky is planned for the first quarter of 2021, the construction of the second Ro-Ro ship, General Chernyakhovsky, for the same company is currently underway at Kuzey Star Shipyard.
